And He shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

Jesus came in less than perfect surroundings. In a humble stable, crude and worn God sent His Son to an unperfect world. In darkness that was never meant to hold us together; Christ brought light to the world. We are held by His holiness.

Christmas provides opportunities to focus on Jesus and recognize the power of His compassion and love. As we visit the manger, we become aware of how to thank God for His greatest gift and welcome a spirit of thankfulness.   

We were created to praise Him forever! Jesus longs for us to follow Him and acknowledge He is our Savior. He is the WAY to the Father; the One who carries the load as we journey and discover how to walk in faith.     

The wise men traveled, found the Christ Child and offered their finest gifts. Sometimes, we’re not sure what to GIVE the King of Kings. But God helps us examine our lives and choose what will honor Him. 

He longs for us to share treasure of the soul. As JOY finds the way to our hearts, God will help us remember Jesus was sent to bring HOPE. His will was fulfilled! Christ IS deserving of adoration! We will honor Him if we welcome perfect PEACE, humble our hearts and GIVE Him the gift of our faithful LOVE.  

Dear God, thank you for this season of HOPE and opportunities to welcome Jesus. As we worship the One who deserves what we GIVE, humble our hearts to be reminded He is deserving of so much MORE... Bless us with loving moments to RECEIVE Your greatest gift and welcome PEACE and JOY. Thank you for Jesus! Thank you for filling us with gratitude as we offer Him ALL OF OUR LOVE. Amen
