“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 24:14 NIV

The Christmas season provides opportunities to share good will toward men and recognize why sharing the love of God is pleasing to our Savior. He leads us in a prayer of praise, when we ready our hearts to RECEIVE His everlasting love. 

God helps us discover the gift He lovingly gave to the world. He humbles our hearts. In gentle ways to handle our days, He fills us with peace and allows us to recognize His presence. 

Oh, how we need Christmas! We need to be led where PRAISE and PEACE will carry us through difficult days of doubt. And we need to remember God sent His Son to bring HOPE to our darkened world.

The world will continue to disappoint and frustrate the soul of our strength. But Jesus will help us overcome! He overcame the cross and returned from death to show God through Him. The tiny baby born to die lives because of Christmas! 

God gave us the gift of His Son. We must take time to reflect on this beautiful season. Jesus will shine the light of love where darkness cannot hide. HE will help us clearly see the reward of our faithfulness if we turn from our selfish ways, acknowledge Him as Lord of our lives and seek Him with all of our hearts! 

Glory to God in the highest! He is near. He is HERE because HE LOVES US!

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence in our lives. Forgive us when we forget how much we need YOU. Humble our hearts to remember Your will was fulfilled through the Savior. Guide us through every moment of our days and help us remember why we must be ready to open our hearts for YOU and welcome Christmas. Amen
