In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe. Psalm 4:8 NLT

Sometimes faith becomes weathered in doubt when anxious thoughts rob our calm. But God knows how to quiet our souls. He covers us with the ability to see how it feels to be held in His presence and find comfort in the presence of PEACE. 

In quiet moments, He silences distractions and hears our prayers for STRENGTH. As we pray with humble hearts, He readies us to see how it feels to be held together by the goodness of His faithful LOVE.  

The Bible says, “Don’t be anxious about TOMORROW. God will take care of your tomorrow too. Live one day at a time. Matthew 6:34 TLB

God opens our eyes to discover what will happen next. He helps us learn to be faithful. He manages our days, guides, provides and gives us the ability to keep on going... He readies us to handle EVERY single thing.

God is SO MUCH BIGGER THAN OUR WORRIES! We mustn't let fear consume us. He will take care of everything we need. "Worry will not take away tomorrows troubles, it will take away today's peace." We must focus on who IS working for the GOOD and remember to TRUST Him with ALL things. 

God will hear our prayers as we’re held in His holiness. What a wonderful way to be readied to rest; tethered by the promise for PEACE and held by our Father's faithfulness.  

Dear God, You know the plans you have for each one of us. Fill us with calm as we gratefully find rest in You. Help us remember who's in charge of ALL things, so we will welcome PEACE and surrender what’s holding us back from nurturing JOY. Thank you for the power of Your love. It fills us with HOPE as we continue to TRUST in You and find reward in the arms of Your presence. Thank you, Lord for cradling us in Your care. Amen
