Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth! Make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise! Psalm 98:4 KJ21

As we say goodbye to the last day of the year, perhaps we need to be reminded to say, “Thank you, God for loving us through EVERY moment. 

Sometimes, we’re afraid to look back on days that were challenging. But in moments to reflect, God reminds us how far we've come. He helps us see who we are becoming because of His great love.  

God helps us examine our lives and witness how He provides. His love is constant, even when changes come. He cradles us in care and hugs us with the strength of His holiness. He skillfully holds us together.        

When we begin prayers with praise, God places PEACE in our hearts. He knows what we need to welcome calm. He opens our eyes to focus on the love of Christ and reminds us who’s in charge of our days.      

We must “never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.” What’s ahead is uncertain. But we shouldn’t worry about things we can’t control. The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come; The old has gone, the new is here! 2 Corinthians 5: 17 NIV

Tomorrow, we will wake to new possibilities for the year ahead; precious opportunities God WILL provide. He will place desire in our hearts to journey with Jesus and offer the abundance of JOY. He will prepare us to RECEIVE gifts from the Holy Spirit.   

We were not created to walk alone. We don’t have to lean on our own understanding of what should happen next. God already knows! He will give us wisdom to step in faith and rely on Him. God WILL do great things according to His power that’s at work in us. He WILL provide EVERYTHING we need to be blessed. 

Let’s celebrate 2022 with gratitude and PRAISE for what’s been done for EACH one of us. Walking with Jesus will always bring reward when we step in the fullness of His LOVE.  

How will you welcome the new year and the compassion of Christ? We can follow Him to the Father. He will hear our prayers as we turn from our selfish ways, TRUST in His greatness and acknowledge Him as Lord of our lives. 

Dear God, Thank you! YOU are the Provider of everything we need. Forgive us when we forget to welcome Your presence of STRENGTH. Help us honor YOU, welcome 2022 and remember why we are blessed. We will remain faithful when changes come and remember who is working for the GOOD. Help us grow our faithfulness and remember to gratefully TRUST. Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Amen
