Jesus longs for us to receive His PEACE and discover where JOY is found. He wants us to live without fear and experience the love of His presence. He lifts us from doubt and knows when we need to find STRENGTH. He humbles our hearts to recognize WHY we need Him.
There will be challenges in life, but we don’t have to handle them alone. Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” Matthew 11:28-30
Oh, how we NEED to find rest for our souls and learn how to release the worry of our wonder. The world will continue to challenge our strength, but Jesus will help us overcome! He IS our PEACE. (Ephesians 2:14) HE will love us through sadness and remind us how He handles ALL things.
God has given the GIFT of His Son. Christ will shine where fear isn't allowed to dwell. He will help us clearly see the reward of being faithful. PEACE is what we need at Christmas and EVERY day of our lives. Surely, if we open our eyes for the JOY of this season, we will find it. Jesus will help us welcome His perfect LOVE.
Dear God, thank you for opening our hearts for Your greatness. Only YOU can do what we cannot. Forgive us when doubt diminishes JOY for Jesus. Thank you for HOPE that comes from surrender. We’re so grateful for the PEACE He provides. Prepare us for what’s to come as we receive the blessings of Christmas and humble our hearts for Your love. Thank you for this season of GOOD. You know what we need to find rest for our souls and discover how to love YOU even more... Amen
