“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven…” Ecclesiastes 3:1

Winter days are dreary. We miss the sun while we WAIT to be warmed by its glow. We forget there’s a reason for the seasons and need to be reminded there’s purpose for everything God provides. 

God is in charge of the weather. Often, He blesses us with sunshine good; blue-sky days of greatness. But sometimes days of gray seem to last forever while we WAIT for brighter days to come. 

God has a plan for each one of us. He helps us remember EACH DAY is a gift. He grows our FAITH as we connect with Him and begin our prayers with praise. He gives STRENGTH to endure and reminds us to be faithful, no matter what. 

God WILL prepare us to be blessed when He's ready. The sun will shine with greater reward if we TRUST the One who nurtures JOY. He will help us embrace a heart of gratitude for the power of His love. 

God knows what He's doing! He will arm us with everything we need to handle our days and set the stage for GOOD. Rain or shine, He IS ALWAYS with us! As the seasons change, He WILL be our constant source of STRENGTH! There will never be a day without Him. God will hold us together in all kinds of weather. He is God and He loves us!

Dear God, oh, how we NEED to be warmed by the light of Your love. Open our hearts so we will find PEACE in Your presence. Help us learn to be patient while we WAIT for brighter days to come. Give us strength to remember there’s a reason for EVERY season of our lives. We will welcome JOY from the heart of our praise and remember who guides and provides. Thank you, Lord! Thank you for helping us TRUST in You, even when days are gray. Amen
