Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10 NLT
Sometimes, things don’t go as planned and it’s hard to deal with disappointment. When circumstances change and rob the joy we’ve known, God longs for us to TRUST Him to handle our days and witness the heart of His love.
He hears our prayers for mercy. When we’re tested to the limit, God arms us with everything we need to deal with our trials. When we’re weary and weak, He provides STRENGTH to do what needs to be done to find relief.
God helps us understand we don’t have to handle life alone. He opens our hearts for Jesus and nurtures FAITH to grow. He helps us recognize WHY we need Him and learn to cope with HOPE. He helps us remain faithful and endure.
Life will not always take us where we want to go. But there will never be a day without God’s purpose. He has a PLAN for our lives. He will reveal His will when the timing is right and open our eyes for glimpses of good.
The Bible says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11 Oh, how we need to cling to His promise and allow Him to guide and provide.
In the WAIT of what will happen, God wants us to remember better days WILL come. We mustn't doubt His ability to carry us through every moment. He will return JOY where it belongs. We will once again breathe in His fullness; rewarded by our gratitude and God's amazing LOVE.
Dear God, thank you for the plans YOU have for our days and STRENGTH which comes from surrender. Humble our hearts to remember who is working for GOOD. Help us focus on the love of Your faithfulness, so we will let go of doubt and find courage to endure the challenges we face. Thank you for helping us remember we don’t have to handle life on our own. Draw us closer to Jesus so we will experience how it feels to breathe in the fullness of YOU and welcome JOY to return where it belongs. Thank you, Lord! Amen
