“He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young.” Isaiah 40:11 NIV

There will be days we become distracted; in need of comfort and calm. We will stumble and fall as we follow Jesus. But the good Shepherd will lift us back where we belong and set our feet on solid ground. He will hold us by the heart of His holiness.  

We all need to be cradled in care and lifted where we see glimpses of good. Jesus longs to have a relationship and help us experience how it feels to be rescued. He helps us surrender fear and breathe in the fullness of compassion and love. 

When we lose our way, Jesus shows us where to GO as we walk closer to Him. He helps us learn to TRUST and reminds us why we will neve have to walk alone. He fills our souls with HOPE.   

Jesus shows the way to the Father. He readies us to welcome the power of His STRENGTH and remember who’s in charge of ALL things. He leads us where we need to go to welcome perfect PEACE.  

We will be guided by His love. Everyone needs to be held by the One who knows we need to be rescued. He will tend His flock like a shepherd. Precious Jesus will always take care of us as we gratefully follow Him.  

Dear God, thank you! You lift us with arms of strength and carry us ALL the days of our lives. Forgive us when we forget how to be held by Your holiness. Help us recognize the power of Your strength and be guided by compassion and love. Thank you for PEACE that comes when we follow Jesus and allow ourselves to recognize when it’s time to be rescued. Amen
