And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God. Hebrews 13:16 NLT

God gives us reasons to glorify Him. He plans each and every moment. He uses us to serve Him and recognize the needs of others. He equips us to do what is right and glorify Him with our actions and love.

Sometimes, we don’t feel ready to do what needs to be done. We become discouraged and feel inadequate to tackle God’s tasks. But He knows what He’s doing. As we remain faithful, we grow in the gifts of His greatness and develop a passion for what He places in our hearts.  

The Bible says, “And let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up.” Galatians 6:9 TLB God promises His reward and blesses us as we share with those in need. He readies us to shine the light of Jesus and demonstrate the compassion of His love.

Serving others IS serving God. HE WILL use us for His glory. When we develop a willingness to be more like Christ, we will clearly see life is so much better when humble our hearts and give. How will you choose to glorify Him and help others who need to know of His mighty love?  

Dear God, thank you for the power of Your love. It reaches us in many ways. Help us develop a willingness to serve YOU with all of our hearts and demonstrate the love of Christ. You give passion and purpose for the gifts You provide. Help us grow in Your greatness and never be afraid to reflect the love of Christ. Thank you for JOY which comes from serving YOU and opening our eyes to the needs of others. It blesses us in so many ways. Thank you, Lord. Amen
