But I am trusting you, O Lord. I said, “You alone are my God; my times are in your hands.” Psalm 31: 14 TLB
God opens our hearts to welcome each new day. Sometimes we wake ready to welcome ALL He provides; eager to praise the love of His faithfulness and welcome His presence of PEACE. But sometimes worry opens our eyes and it’s hard to feel grateful.
There’s a reason God wants us to call on Him before we choose to rise. He helps us remember WHY we need Him. He arms us with opportunities to witness the power of His love and provides what we need to faithfully endure.
The Bible says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3: 5. We don’t have to figure out everything on our own. God IS with us! As we TRUST in Him, He handles our days and reminds us we are not alone.
As we surrender worry, God reminds us who plans our days. Even when we cannot see what will happen next, He continues to grow our faith. He takes care of us and those we love and fills us with PEACE that passes all understanding.
God helps us remember His timing is not our own. He humbles our hearts and gives us courage to bravely let go. Fear will never be allowed to rob the joy we’ve known if we arm ourselves with the love of His faithfulness. HE will give us HOPE to cope, no matter what we face. God is HERE. HE loves us. His mercies are new each and every morning. He WILL hear us when we PRAY and draw closer to Him.
Dear God, Thank you for the power of Your love. Thank you for giving us STRENGTH when we feel fragile. Help us find PEACE in Your presence. Thank you for showing us what happens when we totally TRUST. We will remember who’s in charge of this day and never forget who holds us together with the promise of never-ending love. Thank you, Lord for Your faithfulness. Amen
