Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 NLT

God longs for us to welcome PEACE. His love encompasses EVERYTHING we need. He gives purpose to our days as we TRUST in Him and provides STRENGTH when we’re feeling weak. 

Sometimes thoughts are fueled by the worry of wonder and we need to be reminded where to find calm. Anxiety robs strength and places fear where it doesn’t belong. But Jesus takes our burdens when we surrender doubt and make room in our hearts for GOOD.     

He shows how to examine our hearts and get rid of what doesn’t belong. Fear, insecurity, sin and shame will fill us with dreaded doubt. But He will find the way to remind us we are valued and loved. He will help walk closer to God and see how He handles our lives. He will fill us with desire to want to be rescued. 

God knows our hearts. He wants us to have abundant joy and experience His blessings. He opens our eyes in truth with a passion to love Him MORE. GOD is BIGGER than the fear which tries to smother truth. He reminds us we are worthy of love.

If fear is allowed to rule our lives, we will miss opportunities to give God the praise He deserves. He wants us to witness what happens when our wounds are healed. The joy of the Lord is our STRENGTH!  We should always be ready to pray, “thank you, Lord” while we wait to be transformed. Stepping in faith WILL lead us toward wholeness.

We were not created to carry the weight of the world or become blinded by fear’s ugly lie. God will break the chains that bind. Every soul is worthy of His love. We can walk in the footsteps of Jesus and welcome changes in us if we step in faith, choose to be led in the right direction, love Him with all of our hearts and turn from our selfish ways.

He will guide and provide as we remain faithful. God will help us breathe in the fullness of His love as we walk with Jesus, grow our relationship with Him and humble our hearts in obedience. He will help us see what He sees in us as we learn to walk in truth. Every step of faith will lead us closer to God’s perfect plan for our days. We must BELIEVE He will handle our lives, gratefully follow Christ and choose to leave fear behind. 

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4: 13 NIV

Dear God, thank you for reminding us to trust in YOU. Forgive us when we forget to walk in truth. Touch us with the power of Your love. Help us witness what comes from surrender as we make room for peace. Thank you for knowing our hearts and holding us together when we’re weak. Take the worry of wonder and replace it with courage to recognize we NEED YOU. Thank you for helping us remove fear and shame. Thank you for reminding us we are valued and loved. You make room in our hearts to welcome JOY and we are grateful! We will be faithful to YOU. Thank you, Lord! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Amen
