He says, “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be honored among the nations. I will be honored in the earth.” Psalm 46:10 NIRV

God reminds us to be STILL so we will feel His nudging and recognize what happens when He speaks. Sometimes, we look for larger- than- life moments to be reminded He is HERE. But often He uses subtle ways to help us feel His presence, silence distractions and allow us to experience the power of His love.  

We find PEACE as we humble our hearts for Jesus and draw closer to Him. As we pray in Jesus' name, we're reminded we are valued and loved. He removes anxious thoughts and helps us learn to TRUST, so we will welcome HOPE and turn from our selfish ways. We find comfort when we learn how to follow.   

God helps us examine our lives and recognize WHY we need what He provides. He restores us in the timing of His will and helps us remember we are covered by His mercy and grace.  

We must learn to be patient, quiet and still. God IS always listening while we wait in His will. He knows our every thought before we speak. We must stop being afraid of silence and take time to humbly receive. There's so much more than talking when we pray. 

How will God speak to your heart? How will He choose to help you recognize when He has spoken? He will bless us in mighty ways! God's LOVE will speak louder than our emotions when we take time to PRAY and understand why it's so important to LISTEN.  

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence. Forgive us when we allow distractions to lead us far away. Quiet anxious thoughts, so we will recognize the PEACE You provide. Help us understand what comes from surrender. Thank you for what happens when we TRUST. Thank you for the many ways you speak to us when we take time to listen. You care of us and those we love. We're so grateful! Thank you, Lord. Amen
