This is what the Lord says, “Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls." But you said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Jeremiah 6:16

Sometimes we stand at the crossroads unsure where to GO. We allow fear to hold us back from finding rest for our souls. We forget God readies us to travel. He sets the stage for what’s to come as we follow Jesus and stop being afraid to TRUST.

It’s natural to not feel ready to walk on a path’s unknown. But God knows what’s ahead in our lives. He promises a plan that’s GOOD for each one of us. The Bible says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 NLT

God provides STRENGTH when we do our part to walk in the fullness of Jesus. He arms us with everything we need to welcome the presence of PEACE. He helps us move in the right direction as we begin to understand the power of His amazing LOVE.

As we step in FAITH, God grows us by His mercy and grace. He readies us to do great things when we let go of fear and doubt. He helps us walk in the courage of HOPE and humbles our hearts to remember we have been created for a purpose.

God keeps His promise to do what needs to be done to help us leave our comfort zones. He blesses us in beautiful ways as we walk in the courage of HOPE. We must open our hearts for His guiding.

God will be honored if we give Him the glory, turn from our selfish ways, follow in the footsteps of Jesus and faithfully PRAY. Wisdom will come if we breathe in His WORD and find direction along the way.  God knows what He’s doing to help us welcome JOY. He will use in mighty ways to glorify Him.

Let's stop being afraid to take the steps needed to walk in the goodness of love.  We don’t need to trust a map of confusion. If we allow ourselves to be faithfully led, God will navigate our lives with His promise. We don’t have to worry about perfection when we walk on the path of righteousness. God will give us instructions along the way and He will move us. It’s okay if we need reminders to step in FAITH when God calls us to GO.

Dear God, thank you for giving us direction when we don’t know where to go. Help us remember YOU are in charge of our days. Arm us with everything we need to find glimpses of GOOD as we walk with Jesus and recognize when it’s time for a change. Help us journey on Your path of purpose and remember to step in FAITH. We’re ready to find JOY as we move closer to YOU and respond to Your nudging. Thank you for helping us see what happens when we welcome Your STRENGTH and TRUST in YOU. Thank you for taking care of what we could never handle alone. Thank you for giving us courage to walk with HOPE. Amen
