Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Matthew 11:29

When the weight of the world rests on our shoulders, we need to be reminded Jesus WILL carry the load. We all have burdens to bear. But we will find rest for our souls when we humble our hearts and faithfully trust in Him.  

Christ knows the heart of our weakness. He helps us understand we don’t have to handle life alone. He nurtures our relationship as we draw closer to Him and recognize we are valued and loved. He readies us to receive God’s greatness and witness His many rewards. He helps us surrender anxious thoughts. 

Rest will come when we step closer to God and allow Jesus to dwell where He belongs. He will help us welcome PEACE. If we share our struggles with Christ, He will humble our hearts with His gentle love and help us release our fears.     

Dear God, Thank you for Jesus. We will seek Him with all of our hearts and find rest in the power of His love. As we surrender burdens in our lives, help us to remember; when we share the yoke of Jesus, we are professing our faith in You and gratefully welcoming peace to remember; we will never have to carry the weight of the world alone. Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Amen
