May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 NIV

God is the Author and Giver of GRACE. He helps us find courage and calm. He holds us in the heart of His holiness and provides STRENGTH when troubles come.

STRENGTH is something we need. It helps us COPE with HOPE and welcome PEACE. God holds us together by the power of His LOVE and helps us handle fear. He reminds us HE is HERE when we have difficulty putting one foot in front of the other.

As we step in FAITH, Jesus walks with us and carries the burdens of our hearts. He leads us nearer to the Father and teaches us to TRUST. While God patiently waits for us to pray and share our needs, He’s already determined what we need to RECEIVE to handle life’s struggles.  

The Bible has a lot to say about struggles in the world. John 16: 33 says,” I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” And “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you. Isaiah 26:3

God has the power to DO what we cannot! He WILL arm us with everything we need to fight battles and help us find courage to persevere. He WILL bandages sores of the soul and cover wounds of weakness. He WILL nurture our FAITH as we pray to be restored and humble our hearts for His greatness.

We mustn’t allow circumstances to rob our FAITH in God. As we remain tethered to Jesus, He will hold us together by His LOVE. And when winds of fury create havoc in our hearts, God will shelter us from the storms. He will bless the souls of those who pray and believe they WILL be rescued. We mustn’t lose sight of HOPE when troubles come. God will always help us overcome when we cling to His promises. 

Dear God, thank you! YOU lift us with mighty arms of STRENGTH and provide PEACE in Your presence. Cradle us in care as we open our eyes and clearly see the NEED for Your direction. Thank you for the fullness of Your LOVE. It helps us remain faithful and remember YOU will ALWAYS take care of us and those we love. Thank you for Your mercy and grace. Thank you for the comfort of Jesus, when struggles come. Amen
