Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46: 4 NIV

 God is HERE! Our loving Father provides strength to sustain. He helps us witness the love of Christ and have a living relationship with Him. The One who knows what we NEED provides mercy and strength. GOD has a plan for our days. 

With arms open wide, Jesus longs to cradle us with the compassion of His love. He opens the eyes of our hearts, so we will recognize why we NEED Him and see ourselves as He sees us; beautifully created to love Him with all of our hearts.

As we’re connected to the One who saves, we begin to understand the power of His greatness. When we stop making Him reach so far, we feel His presence of PEACE and find comfort to COME AS WE ARE to experience what happens when we remain faithful. 

Jesus wants us to feel His love, but sometimes we allow distractions to rob our calm. We drift in the worry of wonder and forget HOW to be rescued. The Bible says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4: 6-7

There IS power in Jesus' name! As we pray for God’s guiding, He WILL help us see ourselves as He sees us; worthy and capable of fulfilling His will with desire to shine in His greatness! It’s okay if we have to dig deep to SEE what God SEES in us! Good things WILL happen when we PRAY to be transformed and BELIEVE we will be rescued because we are valued and loved. 

Dear God, thank you for opening our eyes for the blessing of this day. Forgive us when we try to handle life on our own. Renew our hearts with desire to TRUST in YOU and remember we are valued and loved. Remove our anxious thoughts so we will see ourselves as YOU see us; able to fulfill Your purpose for our days. Humble our hearts so we will SEE what You SEE in us and make the necessary changes to welcome the JOY of a grateful heart. Thank you for what happens when we faithfully PRAY and BELIEVE You have a plan for the future. Thank you, Lord! Amen
