And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4: 7 NIV

God longs for us to discover His LOVE is forever and witness the power of STRENGTH. He helps us stay focused as we faithfully BELIEVE and guard our hearts with the PEACE of His presence.  

When troubles come, God reminds us to TRUST He WILL handle our lives as we remain grounded in His promise to take care of us. He helps us cope with HOPE and remember who’s in charge of our days.

HOPE is something we need! Some will try and tell us it’s found where there is no trouble. But we know that’s not true. The Bible says, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 NIV

At some time in our lives, we will deal with doubt and disappointment. But God will help remove what robs our calm. As we consider we’re covered by His protection, He will help us dig down deep and recognize what’s responsible for fueling fear.   

The world will continue to disappoint, but the PEACE of Jesus will help us. As we make the decision to WORRY NO MORE, He will help us overcome. He overcame the cross. He holds us together in times of uncertainty as we pray to find relief. We mustn’t allow worldly influences to “crowd God” out of our hearts. 

“Peace will be found on the path paved with prayer.” These are comforting words to remind us what to do when we battle weary thoughts. There will never be a moment without God’s guiding. HE is in charge of our days. We must TRUST His authority when the worry of wonder tries to lead us away from His truth.  

The fruit of that righteousness will be PEACE; its effect will be quietness and confidence forever. Isaiah 32: 17 NIV The Lord will bring PEACE to our hearts and provide STRENGTH in the midst of struggles. He is GOD. He is HERE for each one of us.

How can we guard our hearts with the shield of God’s protection and hold calm where PEACE will dwell? We can soak in His Word, spend quiet time of reflection and give God the glory He deserves. He will arm us with what we need to remember “anything taking God’s rightful place in our lives is sin.” 

God will fuel our souls as we hold the goodness of His LOVE and allow Him to grow our TRUST. When struggles come, He will help us find courage and STRENGTH. As we pray in Jesus’ name, we will find HOPE when we give Him our burdens. We must never lose sight of God’s faithfulness. He will provide what we need when we PRAY for PEACE and humble our hearts with a willingness to continue to grow.   

“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalm 139:23-24 NLT

Dear God, thank you for moments to be lifted. We will TRUST in the power of Your love. While we are cradled in care, help us welcome Your STRENGTH, remain faithful and put our HOPE in You. Thank you for the PEACE of Your protection. Only YOU know how to perfectly provide and gift us with the blessing of a grateful heart.  Thank you, Lord. Thank you! Amen
