For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV

When God fills us with purpose, He allows us to recognize the strength of His LOVE. He holds us together with EVERYTHING we need to embrace what He provides. He opens our eyes so we will recognize we are worthy of love. He helps us COPE with HOPE as we learn to handle anxiety. 

Many struggle with anxious thoughts and become burdened by worry and doubt. But God knows the souls of those who PRAY to “let it out.” He recognizes why it’s HARD to surrender fear and reminds us HE is HERE when we ask to be restored. 

We ALL need the PEACE of our Savior! Jesus’ loving sacrifice came with suffering and pain. He took our sin and shame and continues to do so today, as we bravely admit the NEED for mercy and grace. He humbles our hearts for His. 

God is so much bigger than fear! When anxiety dwells where HOPE isn't found, it robs us of JOY and calm. God provides many ways for us to be blessed. We mustn’t hide behind lies and run from God’s promises when we need to find comfort and rest. He knows what we need to walk in FAITH and gratefully be restored. 

God will help us diminish fear as we bravely TRUST. The Bible says, “He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand.” Psalm 40:2 NIV There is comfort in knowing God has the authority to lift us from ditches of doubt and hold us in the arms of His holiness.   

God is GOOD! He is great! He WILL grow our FAITH and help us endure when living is hard. We WILL experience difficult days, but God will never leave us as we BELIEVE in His power to save. 

Jesus died on the cross and rose again. He lovingly invites us to follow Him. He carries burdens and gives us PEACE that passes all understanding. We will never fully understand how we will be guided. But if we stay tethered to His LOVE, Christ WILL lead us in the right direction as we walk toward wholeness. 

We mustn’t allow the worry of wonder to hold us back from gratefully anticipating what will happen next. God will do amazing things as we continue to TRUST and ready our hearts for the healing of surrender. 

God will reward us as we step in FAITH and believe in His promises. May the goodness of His everlasting LOVE nurture a willingness in us to boldly “let go” of what is stopping us from welcoming JOY. 

Dear God, thank you for loving us through weakness. You hold us together and lift us where we see glimpses of good. Forgive us when we’re ashamed to admit why we need YOU. Fill us with Your presence of peace. Help us witness amazing things as we learn to overcome fear. We will trust You all of our days as You help us let go of doubt and make room for PEACE to dwell. Thank you for helping us discover the beauty of surrender as we find STRENGTH in YOU. Thank you for the JOY of Jesus! We will hold it in our hearts as we journey with Him and step in the fullness of YOU. Amen
