Don’t worry about anything, but pray and ask God for everything you need, always giving thanks for what you have. And because you belong to Christ Jesus, God’s peace will stand guard over all your thoughts and feelings. His peace can do this far better than our human minds. Philippians 4:6-7 ERV
When stress weighs heavy on our shoulders and fear robs our calm, Jesus lifts us with arms of strength and guides us back where we belong. He loves us through anxious thoughts and knows when we need to be restored. He removes the worry of what will happen next and replaces it with PEACE that passes all understanding. He demonstrates loving compassion for each one of us.
When fear tries to consume what should be surrendered, God hears our prayers for mercy. He knows how to handle anxiety and doubt. The Maker of every living thing longs for us to witness how He orchestrates our lives and bandages wounds of weakness. He covers the sores of our souls.
The Bible says, “Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.” We don’t have to try and understand how God will provide. STRENGTH comes in His presence when we ask for help.
The load will be too heavy if we carry it alone. But if we focus on the love of His faithfulness God will help us take each day as it comes. We mustn’t spend time worrying about what tomorrow will bring. God will bring calm to our hearts TODAY. We must pray for His will to be done and never forget HOPE is found in the love of His faithfulness.
Dear God, it’s not always easy to feel strong and content. Forgive us when we allow weakness to rob our TRUST in You. Thank you for moments to remember who’s in charge of ALL things. Help us be patient and welcome the presence of PEACE each and every morning. We will embrace the offering of Your love and remember who's working for good. We will trust You every moment of our lives. Thank you, Lord! Because of You, it is well with our souls. Amen
