Shout for joy to the LORD, everyone on earth. Worship the LORD with gladness. Come to Him with songs of joy. Know that the LORD is God. He made us, and we belong to him. We are his people. We are the sheep belonging to his flock. Give thanks as you enter the gates of his temple. Give praise as you enter its courtyards. Give thanks to him and praise his name. The LORD is good. God is deserving of our thanks! Our loving Father is honored when we humble our hearts and remember WHY we are blessed. He places JOY in our souls as we offer prayers of praise and thank Him for calling us worthy.  

When we give thanks to the One who created us to glorify Him, God draws us closer. Praising God welcomes the goodness of His LOVE as we reflect on His faithfulness to us. 

Sometimes, we forget God guides and provides. We try to manage our lives and forget how it feels to be led. But God helps us recognize HE is HERE as we examine our hearts and understand the NEED for our Savior. He holds us together while we hold gratitude and remember we’re never alone in the challenges we face. 

When we stand in awe of our Creator and truly THANK HIM for ALL He has done, PEACE will welcome STRENGTH. God will nurture PRAISE that will set the stage for GOOD. He will remind us WHY He is deserving of ALL of our LOVE and help us not forget we were created to glorify HIM!  

Dear God, Thank you for Your never-ending LOVE. Forgive us when we neglect to say, “thank you!” You are deserving of so much MORE than morsels of gratitude. Help us develop a better understanding of the many ways we are blessed, as we begin each day with praise and welcome the precious opportunities to witness Your timely rewards. Thank you, Lord! Thank you! Amen
