Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23 NLT 

Sometimes we place expectations on ourselves and become weary when things don’t go as planned. We focus on the messiness of life and forget God is HERE in the “ups and downs” of everything we experience.     

We were created to love Him with all of our hearts and TRUST Him to handle our days. We will make mistakes and God will help us learn from them. He will guide us when frustration builds and we need to be reminded it’s okay. 

God helps us find wisdom in His Word as we pray and consider the power of His authority. “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

When we hold on to doubt, joy slips away and Satan wants us to feel defeated! But God helps us overcome! He arms us with everything we need to fight our battles and places HOPE in our hearts. 

We were never promised we would be without struggles in our lives. As we breathe in His greatness, God reminds us HE is faithful. He loves us through weakness and makes it clear that we don’t have to pretend with Him.  

Perhaps God takes us through the “ups and downs” so we will view mishaps in our lives as magnificent opportunities to make us stronger than before. God has the authority to do great things when we rely on His greatness. Let’s not be discouraged if the HOPE we hold is momentarily released! God IS on the move to take care of each one of us. He will provide everything we need and set the stage for good to come. God will love us through everything that happens in our lives. He is HERE! Believe in His power to help.    

Dear God, Thank you for Your presence. You give us strength and return hope where it belongs. Thank you for Jesus and the peace we feel in His presence. You handle our stress and remind us why it’s good for the soul to ask for help. Thank you for what happens when we trust in You and stop trying to handle life on our own. We will love You with all of our hearts and trust You, no matter what!  Thank you, Lord. Thank you. Amen
